The Sketchbook Project
HAND DRAWN ILLUSTRATIONSThe Sketchbook Project is an art challenge by Brooklyn Art Library open to all creatives and artists. The goal is to fill up the sketchbook following a theme, then sent it back to the Brooklyn Art Library and will be a part of the world's largest collective archive and accessible to the public.
I choose the theme ‘One last chance’ to dedicate this sketchbook to the beauty of nature, featuring flowers and plants. ‘One last chance’ will be relating to the event of climate change, if we don’t act now we will have ‘One last chance’ to admire nature’s beauty and fragility.
I have done a lot of research on vegetal, texture, color, shape, contrast, transparency. The illustration technique used here is stippling with ink.
